Children 18 and under can get free meals at several locations across the city starting May 27 through July 25, 2025.

The Indy Parks Meals Program has been running since 2013 and has provided more than 3 million meals, according to the program’s website.

The meals are offered Monday through Friday for free, and no registration is required. 

Other locations across the city offer free summer meals too. You can look them up by searching this interactive map on the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s website. 

Here’s a list of the locations and times when Indy Parks mobile units will serve meals to community members:

Mobile Unit 1:

  • 11–11:30 East 38 St Library – 5420 E 38 St
  • 12–12:30 Beechwood Gardens Apt – 2915 N Graham Ave
  • 1–1:30 Brightwood Lib. – 2434 N Sherman Dr
  • 2:30–3 Wes Montgomery Park – 3400 N Hawthorne Ln
  • 3:30–4 Grassy Creek Park – 10510 E 30 St
  • 4:30–5 Jake Greene Park – 1700 N Franklin Rd
